Evander Holyfield

Five time heavyweight boxing champion Evander Holyfield Celebrated his 50th Birthday party at Julien’s Auctions Gallery on Friday October 19th, 2012.

Julien’s Auctions Gallery is the world’s premier sports and entertainment auction house in Beverly Hills. Julien’s showcased a collection of Holyfield’s memorabilia spanning his entire career which will go up for auction on November 30, 2012.

Many celebrity guests were expected to attend such as Mike Tyson, Olympian Sharrieffa Barksdale, George Forman Sr., George Forman Jr., author Lee Grunfeld, Chicago Bear Willie Gault, legendary Dallas Cowboy Anthony Henry, actor Vincent Ward, Margaret O’Brien and Hollywood icon Mickey Rooney. Unfortunately only a handful actually showed. The 1984 Olympics Heavy Weight Gold Medalist and Holyfield’s old sparing partner Henry Tillman was there to celebrate the champs Birthday, Along with actor Vincent Ward, author Lee Grunfeld, and the legendary Dallas Cowboy Anthony Henry.

A few of Holyfield’s kids was also there to celebrate his Birthday, Ethan Holyfield, Ewin Ezekiel Holyfield, and Emani Holyfield.

There were many fans that showed up and filled the auction house. Estimated over 300 people were there to celebrate, and take photos with the Boxing Legend. It turned into a great networking event as many people mingled and passed business cards. The energy in the room was full of smiling faces and great vibes. This was probably one of the few times that Evander Holyfield was so accessible to so many fans without restriction. He was happy to stop and take photos with fans, and the Media. He also did several video interviews. Fox News, Cbs News, 5 Minute Photos, Getty images, Wire Image, Beverly Hills Courier, WENN, Pr Photos and many other outlets were there to cover this event.

They passed around appetizers such as filet mignon, meatballs, salmon, and a variety of other delicious snacks. There was a hosted bar with various drink options, and even had a tequila bar set up in the back sponsored by Asombroso – 100% Blue Agave tequila which was very smooth, and had a refreshing taste. Holyfield received several gifts of which one was a handmade quilt from the National Indian Gaming Association. From the smile on his face he seemed to have really liked it. The event was only about 3 hours long but it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to be apart of those 3 hours. As the night was coming to an end everyone gathered around the pair of Everlast boxing gloves of a cake, and began singing Happy Birthday to the Birthday Boy as he made the first cut in his cake.

The official Birthday celebration came to an end at Julien’s Auctions Gallery around 9pm, but the night wasn’t over yet. Holyfield and fans along with his friends and family headed over to the after party at Jane’s House in Hollywood. There was a red carpet set up at the entry to the venue. As a few guests posed on the carpet a black Rolls Royce pulled into the lot and Evander Holyfield got out with Olympic Champ Henry Tillman. They both headed to the carpet to get photographed and interviewed by the media.

As Holyfield stood at the end of the carpet after being interviewed he had this look on his face as if he was in deep thought. Someone asked him if he needed anything. He said with no hesitation, I would love to have a milkshake. Someone made a comment about flying one in for him. He said there is a McDonald’s right up the street. So someone from his team went to fetch him his Birthday shake.

They had Holyfield’s table set up with bottle service when he arrived inside. The party went on until around 2am. What a great time everyone had. Happy 50th Birthday Mr. Holyfield.

A special evening with the creators and cast of Oxygen’s “The Glee Project” took place on Thursday, June 7th, 2012 7:30pm at The Leonard Goldenson Theater 5220 Lankershim Blvd. North Hollywood, CA 91601

The evening featured a screening of the shows taping and included behind the scenes interviews with the creators and cast.

There was a live performance after with the “Final Four” of The Glee Project , Season 1 which included Damian McGinty, Samuel Larsen, Lindsay Pearce, Alex Newell.

As Damian McGinty walked down the theatre aisle singing his way down to the stage. Alex Newell came down the other side of the aisle singing his way to the stage. Lindsay Pearce and Samuel Larsen came from behind the stage as they all came together on stage to collaborate on a song.

They all left the stage and 1 at a time came out to do a solo.

Following the live performance was a panel discussion with special guests  Ryan Murphy (Co-Creator & Exec Producer of GLEE, Exec Producer & Mentor on THE GLEE PROJECT) Darren Criss (Actor – GLEE, Mentor – THE GLEE PROJECT) Robert Ulrich (Casting – GLEE and THE GLEE PROJECT, Mentor and Host – THE GLEE PROJECT) Zach Woodlee (Co-Producer and Choreographer GLEE, Mentor – THE GLEE PROJECT) and the Final Four:  

Damian McGinty, Samuel Larsen, Lindsay Pearce & Alex Newell.

The event was moderated by E! News Correspondent David Burtka

A reception  took place afterwards with complimentary drinks and food. The creators and cast mingled with the crowd as everyone posed for pictures with the cast and got autographs.

It was a very special and emotional evening. The cast was so excited to be getting so much attention, and star treatment. For the fans it was like a dream come true.

Followed by complimentary Patron through out the night. And was catered by Master Chef Stefan Richter, a Top Chef finalist and owner of L.A. Farm. There was a live auction, plenty of entertainment, and awards presented. The night closed with a special performance by the children of No Limits.

No Limits is an organization that works to meet the auditory, speech, and language needs of deaf children. They seek to enhance their confidence through the theatrical arts and individual therapy.

Celebrity Photographer Travis Jourdain will be appearing in the soap opera The Young and the Restless on Friday May 4th, 2012 on CBS at 12:30 pst. Be sure to tune in.

Travis Jourdain has decided to jump back into the acting business after taking a break for awhile, and within 2 weeks back in the biz he landed a role on the soap opera The Young and the Restless.

During his break from the acting business he took some time to learn about the “Industry”.

He decided to get into the music business, and started developing artists which he later managed.

Travis also opened a small indy record label that was running for 3 years. He then branched out into the PR business, then spent some time behind a casting desk learning the different aspects of the industry along the way.

With all this under his belt he decided to venture off into another important part of this industry. Which happen to be photography. He found a nitch in the photography business and has been pursing a career as a Celebrity Photographer for the past few years.
Travis Jourdain Bio:

In the world of photography, one must have an eye for what makes a subject look amazing. Having the vast knowledge around a camera with the ability to capture a perfect shot in just a matter of seconds is what makes Travis Jourdain stand out amongst the rest. Being able to photograph an actor in about 5 minutes leaving them with more than enough options to choose from is precisely how the name 5 minute photos came about.

A veteran in photography, though Travis is fairly new to the Hollywood scene. Chaka Khan

Artists for Peace (AFP) hosted the peace event of the year, which took place on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal City Walk. The “Never Again” Peace Concert will honor the legendary Stevie Wonder for his continuous efforts as the United Nations Messenger of Peace. The concert serves to increase awareness and create better understanding of the injustices of discrimination.

The carpet was flooded with media and the carpet should have been longer, but we all bunched up and managed to get the footage. Alot of people I know personally walked the carpet and look fabulous.

After I went inside to shoot the event. Wow what a moment in time that I got to experience first hand to have “Chaka Khan” “Stevie Wonder” “Bobby Brown” “Judith Hill” “Lalah Hathaway” “Eric Benet” “Pras Michel” “Michael Stone” and “Flora Martirosian” all on the same stage at one time. I was in the press area infront of front row at the Gibson Amphitheatre. Had my arms on the stage almost the whole concert shooting video with one hand and capturing images with my camera in the other hand. Wonder how much those seats would have been worth. I heard people could see me on the big screen from the video crew that was shooting the event.

The evening was followed by a great after party. I got to miggle with Bobby Brown, Lalah Hathaway, Tommy Davidson, B Howard and many others. They had complimentary champaign and a full bar. They catered amazing appetizers.

Carla, whose uncle was Universal Pictures Founder Carl Laemmle, first arrived to Hollywood as a classically trained ballet dancer in 1921. Throughout her life she followed her diverse artistic passions, and appeared in a wide array of films like ‘King of Jazz’ in 1930 with George Gershwin, she was the Prima Ballerina in ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ in 1925 with Lon Chaney, and ‘Night and Day’ in 1946 with Cary Grant.

Amber Rose

As we all stood by waiting for Amber to arrive, a black SUV pulled up and riding in the passenger side was Jaime Foxx. 3 or 4 young girls got in the back of the truck. I was told it was his daughter and her friends.

As Wiz Khalifa never did arrive it appeared as if Jaime Foxx was there to more than just to support Amber in her getting the Milkshake. As rumor has it,  there was a video clip taken of them 2 kissing in the back room of the Millions of Milkshakes. Still waiting for it to surface…

3rd Annual Star Magazine Event

3rd Annual Star Magazine’s “All Hollywood” Event:

What  a spectacular event! The carpet was well packed with media from various outlets. There were more bodies than room to stand, as most of the Photographers had to stand sideways moving back and forward  just to get a shot. Others had to stand on a step stool in the second row and lean over to shoot.

Some of the guests that graced the Red Carpet were,

Taryn Manning, Carla Ortiz, Bai Ling, Brittny Gastineau, Tara Reid, Stephanie Pratt, Tatyana Ali, Gavin Dgraw, Jaimie Hilfiger, Igal Dahan, Tess Taylor, Erika Jayne, Gretchen Rossi, Hope Dworaczyk, Jason Wahler, Jayde Nicole. Jesse Bradford, Jessica Hall, and Serena Reeder. Just to name a few. 

I was one of the house photographers for the night so I went inside after the red carpet was over to see who was mingling with who and to enjoy the party.

Jose Cuervo was picking up the tab for the night. They were serving Margaritas with top shelf Tequila one after another.  Of course I even had to grab a glass for myself. They also had some sponsor passing out cool different flavored lip balms. The color and shape resembled easter eggs.  Although I am sure that wasn’t their intention even though Easter is at the end of the month. LOL. Might be a good way to market their product this month.

Gavin Degraw

I started to roam through the room, and ran into Tara Reid, so we took a couple candids. Moving my way to the front I got a few shots of  Taryn Manning doing her thing on the turn table. She was the house dj for the night. I must say I was quite impressed. And she looked like she was having a hell of a time.

He took pictures with about 100 fans. Then made his way to the milkshake stand. Aproned up he put on some plastic gloves and was excited to get started. He made 5 different milkshakes. 3 of which were called ”Breezy Teasy” 1, 2, 3. The first shake that was made was helped created by me.

Alittle boy at the end wanted a simple strawberry shake with whipcream. He was very excited.

All in all I thought it was cool to meet Terrell in person. He seemed like a nice guy.

Cee Lo was delivered to the carpet in a horse and carriage with 2 beautiful models.

CIROC vodka sponsored an endless supply of Cee Lo specialty drinks. The Dancing Chef was also there and provided great H’orderves including Green mashed potatoes which was the bomb. 

The night ended with a one song performance by Cee Lo of his hit song “F*CK YOU”.

The place reached capacity and many people began to congregated in the parking lot. I hung out with 40 Glocc and a few others before leaving at 3am.
