OK…. Well I am not real sure how to start this. Hopefully I don’t offend too many people. First I want to say it was great seeing the 100′s of people that I knew at the event last night. I have been out of that loop for awhile so it was pretty cool to hang out and mingle with everyone. It seemed like everyone was in good spirt and enjoying themselves.
On a later note… Being to so many events and red carpets of various caliber I think I am qualified to make these statements. This event drew several hundred people, and to the organizers it would appear as a successful event. And it might have been for some people as onlookers from the side walk were amazed by what was going on.
This event was at the very top the most disorganized redcarpet that I have ever attended. Next to the LA Music Awards last week. The staff on hand, although I am sure had good intentions, not one of them had any clue how to handle a capacity of this size. The carpet was flooded with B and C list talent…
When real talent showed up to do the carpet they were asked to wait until the not so talented people finished posing for the cameras.
But it was only every once in awhile that you would see a person come on to the carpet that actually had some notoriety. I think a total of about 10 people the whole night fit in that category.
Its funny how these people that get paid to handle celebrities have no idea when there is a real celebrity standing right infront of their face. Simply amazes me. If I was one of the celebs last night, and was asked to wait for a nobody to get off the carpet before I was allowed on, I think I would just excuse myself from the event all together.
All in all everyone looked fabulous and seemed to be having a good time.
There are about 6 different circles of people that attend various events that I am familiar with. Last night they all ended up at the same place, talk about cross promoting. I must have known every photographer and 50% of the guests that attended last night.
As everyone keeps saying how small Hollywood is. I believe people are just starting to merge together. It seems the Hollywood circle is getting bigger. But the truth is, the real Hollywood, where the real celebrities are have a small close circle. Which is probably where they all were last night because they sure weren’t at this so called celeb event.
The funny part is that most everyone knew only the people from their circles, and didn’t know anyone else there. People kept coming up to me and saying who are all these people?
Atleast the bar made a lot of money last night. The drinks were reasonably priced at $10 although they were only serving different types of Vodka, and everyone had atleast 1 drink in their hand at all times. They also brought around complimentary tequila shots.
The 3rd level was pretty crowed with people drinking, dancing and taking pics of themselves and their friends with the Wax Figures. Christopher and Kyle Massey along with a few other celebs hung out and partied with the crowd. Jose Canseco was with his girlfriend and hung out downstairs most of the time just sitting around.
After awhile everyone seemed to be getting bored and many people left the event. Others went to the second floor to get away from the 3rd floor crowd because it was too many people in 1 narrow room.
I heard many people talking about being tricked. They all paid to be apart of this huge celebrity event, and although there were alot people there, it turned out to be just another Hollywood party. Some people stuck around waiting for Paris Hilton to show up. I guess she got there around 2am or later. By then I had enough and left. Maybe next time Paris.

Very well said! I was at this party last night and I bought a Frickin Table. I was told that there will be so many A list celebrities and most of them I have never even heard of or were just aspiring talent. I have nothing against them. Phil Jones promises the world but gives you nothing. He needs to take his accent and go back to NZ and stop scamming Americans of their hard earned money. Presidential Inner circle is a BIG SCAM – Stay Away people.

We heard that many celebrities that were promised did not show until after 1 am when everyone was leaving.
We heard that the Company Presidential Inner Circle had no permission or affiliation with The American Music Awards in anyway.
We heard that many people were ripped off at this event!
They had many unknown names and the media was very displeased.
They were charging people to get on the red carpet. They used celebrities names and claimed charity that was false to make a profit.
The event was very very disorganized and they do not know how to run a red carpet in anyway. Many of the celebrities were very angry and are going back to there PR’s very unhappy.
All and all sounded like a great event! We can’t wait to go next time!

I was duped into paying for membership only to realize how much of a LIAR Phil Jones really is. That link mentioned above shows some of his notorious deeds. It is richmastery that is a part of scams mentioned in the site above.

We contacted our credit card company and found dispute to get over $2000. We ask you to please contact EXTRA TV. Google this event that they were using Mario Lopez and other A celebrities not the F celebrities to make money. We will be filing a small claim in the LA Superior Court and contacted the consumer affairs too.

I worked with Travis recently and the guy takes professionally shot pictures. His pictures get published in many web sites and he is a fast poster. He knows who the celebs are and will hone in on them so your event gets good celeb mileage. He’s a pro at this and will give his opinion on what works and what doesn’t. If people promise these celebs will attend and they don’t it’s not his fault. Sometimes it’s not the fault of promoter either coz many celebs confirm attendance but cancel last minute. Although many promoters also hype the attendance of celebs who did not confirm to get the hype. At the end of the day, people who over-hype and don’t deliver will have a negative reputation and people will steer clear away from them. Check the track record and the people who run the event!

My experience of PIC and Phil Jones is exactly what “Party Attendee” says above. He vastly over-promises and greatly under-delivers. He has a good talent for hyping up his marketing messaging but an even greater talent for scamming people out of their money for his so-called “celebrity” events. Steer clear of Presidential Inner Circle and Phil…don’t take my word for it…do your own homework as I’ve done and read about what other people have to say all over the world about Phil and Presidential Inner Circle.
God help us, we don’t want him back. I’m constantly astounded at his “success” in the USA – shows that a sucker is born every day, I guess. Biggest laugh so far has been his appearances on CEO TV. I gather its not a parody but hard to tell from where I sit.
It’s true that Phil Jones is a fake. He has an underlining of anger that is always present. His so called Pic company is always under scrutiny for false advertising. He promises through membership that you can attend many red carpet events, however we see him ‘trying’ to get into most of the ones we are already at, an no cost to us. He left NZ under a load of disgruntled members and partners. Google alone, can confirm that. He owes a lot of money and uses unsuspecting people/future members to recoup his own loses in order to pay back his creditors.
Phil you won’t last long in this business, Hollywood may be a lot of smoke and mirrors, but yours is very clear for us all to see. Pack up and go home, Phil.

This month, more than two years after the out of court settlement detailed below, Philip Ronald Jones (Phil Jones) published a number of untrue and misleading statements about this litigation.
In these statements, Phil Jones attacked the character and motivations of the plaintiffs; he misrepresented aspects of the legal proceedings; he breached a confidentiality agreement relating to pre-trial mediation and misrepresented events at that mediation; he made false claims about the costs of the litigation; and he made several serious and unsubstantiated allegations of supposedly ‘illegal’ actions by the plaintiffs and their lawyers, and [alleged] ‘copyright breaches’ by Empower Leaders Publishing.

Note: The company Richmastery Limited was re-named Ralph Trading Limited on 20 May 2009 immediately prior to being placed in voluntary liquidation on 19 June 2009. Public records available at the Companies Office website (search ‘Ralph Trading’ or Co. # 1207353 in the Companies Register) show that the company and Phil Jones were, at the time of liquidation, defendants in litigation against them by Gilligan Rowe & Associates and Matthew Kevin Gilligan; and that Phil Jones has left NZ and re-located to the United States.
Legal advice to the plaintiffs in the Empower case in 2007-2008 had raised the possibility of these actions (company liquidation and emigration before a court hearing) and this was a real factor in the plaintiffs’ decision to accept the Richmastery/Jones $65,000 offer accompanied by the admissions and High Court-filed defendants’ undertaking detailed below to settle the litigation.

Empower Leaders Publishing and the plaintiffs advise that a settlement was reached in their copyright lawsuit (CIV 2007-404-5516) against Richmastery Limited, Philip Ronald Jones (Phil Jones) and John Bedggood.
This followed the formal acknowledgement of copyright infringement by Richmastery Ltd (sole director: Phil Jones) and John Bedggood in their use of the Empower authors’ material; the filing in the Auckland High Court of a defendants’ undertaking not to infringe the plaintiffs’ copyright in future; and the payment of $65,000 in damages.
A summary of the terms of settlement:
1. Richmastery Ltd and John Bedggood acknowledge the use of materials from the underlying works pleaded in the Statement of Claim, and that there has been a breach of copyright in using those materials,
2. Each of the defendants: Richmastery Ltd, Phil Jones, and John Bedggood undertakes not to copy, sell or distribute any material that may infringe the copyright in the underlying works pleaded in the Statement of Claim. This defendants’ undertaking (below) was filed in the Auckland High Court. (Available here as a PDF 170k.)
3. The sum of $65,000 was paid by the defendants Richmastery Ltd, Phil Jones and John Bedggood to the plaintiffs Empower Leaders Publishing Ltd, its authors Olly Newland, Mark Withers and Peter Aranyi, and Empower Education.
4. The settlement relates only to the allegations of infringement of the plaintiffs’ works pleaded in the Statement of Claim, that is, in relation to the 19 August 2006 Richmastery seminar.
